Our Specialties

The benefits of physical therapy in Fort Collins are not limited to severe injuries. Through education and training, individuals experiencing minor to moderate neuro-muscular and other physical discomforts will be surprised at how much their quality of life can improve over a very short time period and given only moderate effort.

We help the highly active and competitive recreational sports community on the Front Range of Colorado and Wyoming, including soccer and football players, runners, road cyclists and mountain bikers. Training and education acquired at Integrative Physiotherapy not only aids them in healing, but it  also provides a knowledge-base that improves athletic performance through strength and balance training and a greater neuro-muscular awareness.

We help those who have injuries due to repetitive movements, heavy lifting, desk work, every day activities! Repetitive movements or sitting at a desk all day can affect the neuro-muscular health of an individual in many ways including decreased range of motion and flexibility, arthritis and other symptoms. Come see us to find relief!

Motor Vehicle Accidents

We treat motor vehicle accident victims! If you are suffering from pain after being involved in an MVA come see us. We can help you figure out your next steps with your claim while getting you started with a treatment plan to relieve your symptoms.

We strive to keep you out of surgery, but if surgery becomes your only option, we can help you recover at a faster rate! Pre-operative physical therapy is just as important as post-operative physical therapy in decreasing your recovery time and getting you back to your activities of daily living! After surgery, you are forced to compensate by doing things differently, for example, over-using your opposite arm or leg. Compensation can lead to further strains and injury. Come see us to prep your body and mind pre-surgery so that you know what to expect and are ready for post-surgery rehab.

If you’re experiencing a physical discomfort in your everyday life then we encourage you to make an appointment and get started with your recovery.

Specific Medical Conditions:

Joint Pain
The spectrum of patients successfully treated at Integrative Physiotherapy includes individuals undergoing rehabilitation following surgery or a severe injury, muscle strains or sprains, pinched nerves and other spinal complications. Nonetheless, a significant number of the patients that we see for physical therapy in Fort Collins are experiencing symptoms that historically fell outside of the spectrum of injuries thought to be applicable to physical therapy, fibromyalgia, migraines, etc. Modern advances in medicine have shown that these conditions, despite traditionally falling outside of physical therapy, are symptom of a neuromuscular deficiency or injury that can be successfully treated using modes of healing offered by Integrative Physiotherapy including personal training, massage therapy, traditional dry needling and spinal manipulation. Below is a small sample of injuries we treat:

  • Torn muscles, tendons, ligaments
  • Disc herniations
  • Low back pain, tightness, cramping
  • Neck pain, tightness, cramping
  • Chronic Pain
  • Headaches, Migraines
  • cardiovascular conditioning
  • spinal alignment
  • balance/agility training
  • strengthening

Despite being a benefit on the one hand (survival), the ability for human beings to tolerate and overcome discomfort is also a detriment, principally because in modern society it unnecessarily takes away from a person’s quality of life. In short, people often stay injured because they’re getting-by “okay”, but they’re also suffering when they don’t have to.

The Integrative Physiotherapy clinic has the experience to teach you how to heal, rather than overcome, injuries and as a result add significantly to your daily quality of life. We encourage you to make an appointment, the first step in a recovery that you won’t regret.
